Privacy notice

This notice covers the zeracle.com website and its waitlist sign-up, run by Zeracle Labs. It is short because the site collects very little.

The waitlist is separate from the protocol

The waitlist sign-up is part of this website. It is not part of the Zeracle protocol, and signing up creates no account, address or record on any blockchain. The protocol itself holds no customer data; the waitlist does not change that.

What we keep

Only the email address you enter. When you submit the form, the website sends it in one email to the Zeracle Labs team mailbox, with the time it was received. That email is the only place we keep it: the website stores nothing, and there is no database or mailing list behind the form. We send nothing to your address when you sign up.

We do not keep your IP address, browser details or anything else about you. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider, Amazon Web Services, handles your connection and processes network data such as your IP address in order to deliver the page and protect the service.

Once the testnet is running, the home page may show testnet numbers. To show the pool size, your browser reads it directly from a public Ethereum node, named under the numbers. The node's operator receives that request with your IP address and the fact that it came from zeracle.com, as with any web request, and nothing else about you. The other numbers come from this website.

Why

To email you a ready-funded test account when testnet opens, and to answer you if you write to us. Nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share your address.

Your test account

When testnet opens, we create a fresh Ethereum key for your test account on our own machine, fund it with test tokens, and email the key and the account's address to you. We keep no list linking testers to accounts, but that sent email pairs your email address with the account, and its key is known to us. Use the account only for test tokens. We plan to delete each sent account email 30 days after sending it; this period is to be confirmed before testnet opens.

Where it is kept

The email carrying your address is sent through Amazon Simple Email Service and kept in our team mailbox on Amazon WorkMail, in the AWS us-east-1 (United States) region. Only Zeracle Labs has access.

How long

Until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop running the waitlist, whichever comes first. The email that sends you a test account is covered above.

How to be removed

Email privacy@zeracle.com and tell us the address to remove. We delete every email in the team mailbox that holds it, and we will not email it.

Your rights

We hold your address because you asked us to; you can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to remove it. You can also ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and complain to your data protection authority. The data is stored in the United States.

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version will be published on this page.
