Try Zeracle on testnet

Testnet runs Zeracle on Sepolia, Ethereum's test network, and on the public Aztec testnet. Every token there is a test token with no real value, so you can try each step without spending real money.

What you need

Five steps

  1. Create a private account. Open testnet.zeracle.com, connect your wallet and create your account on Aztec.
  2. Deposit. Deposit a test token from Sepolia and receive ZRCL, a share of the reserve basket priced at net asset value, in your private balance. The deposit itself is public on Sepolia, and the ZRCL can take a while to arrive.
  3. Send privately. Send ZRCL to another account. A private transfer does not reveal the sender, the recipient or the amount. The only traces are one-time markers: against a recipient's address the first time you pay them, and likely against yours on your first transfer.
  4. Pay with Instant Pay. Lock some ZRCL once, then pay an invoice by scanning its QR code. The merchant dashboard makes invoices, so with a second account you can try the shop's side too.
  5. Exit to Sepolia. Redeem ZRCL for a test token. Once Aztec settles on Sepolia, which can take a while, confirm one more transaction in your wallet to receive it; if you close the tab, the app offers to finish it later.

Fees

A private send pays a 0.3% transfer fee. Instant Pay charges its fee on each payment, split between payer and merchant (half each on testnet); locking ZRCL into Instant Pay is free. Deposits and exits pay a pool fee, which the app shows before you confirm.
